Hilton Head Island!

Thanks to my great friend Laurie, we got to join her for a week on Hilton  Head Island. We spent Monday to Friday at her parents vacation home! It was amazing!  A nice change of scenery and allowed us to clear our minds and relax. We brought my mom along to help with the kiddos which was perfect! The kids played so well together and we created some fun memories. We spent Monday traveling and grocery shopping. On Tuesday we spent most of the day at the community swimming pool and Laurie and I went out to dinner!  Wednesday we spent 5 hours at the beach and the kids had a BLAST!  Thursday we returned to the beach, but with a few meltdowns due to them being overtired!  We had an encounter with numerous fiddler crabs, one of which decided to hitch a ride home in our bags and crawl into my bedroom...AHHHH!!  Friday we headed back to Charleston to spend the weekend.  Boy it was fun, but it is even better to get back home to our routine!
