Eric left soon after Christmas leave for training back at Fort Polk. We were sad that he was leaving us for a few weeks to go train and prepare for deployment number FOUR! His unit is gearing up for a deployment to Afghanistan in the early spring. This time away for training was our "dry run" as we have been calling it. So far things have gone okay. It takes me about two weeks to get in my groove and get used to being super mom! Its a lot of work holding the fort down, taking care of kids, making meals, washing clothes, picking up after them, keeping them out of trouble, playing with them, loving them, grocery shopping, and then being alone and not having anyone to share your evening with. BUT I WILL SURVIVE!!

These babies love their daddy so much. We are so proud of his hard work and dedication to the Army. He sacrifices so much for so many others. Can't wait to see him again soon!
I went to check on her the other night and this is what I found...soon after he left. Poor baby misses her Daddy. Such a strong girl...proud of her!

OH my goodness Marissa is the sweetest little girl. Big kisses and hugs to her (and you and Brady of course). Bless her little heart. When is he coming back?

Sha!! That is the cutest thing. Deployments suck dude!! In a couple of months, I guess we will both be in the same boat. We can get through it together!!
