While we opened gifts we ate our traditional Christmas breakfast of Country Ham Biscuits and coffee. Then we did gifts and prepared lunch. We had our Christmas lunch around 1:30 which consisted of ham, red rice, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, butter beans, rolls and banana pudding. We ate lunch, played one of Marissa's new board games, then we all took a nap. After nap we went outside to play basketball and with her new jump ropes. We ate some leftovers and called it a night. We had fun playing spending time together as a family and creating memories.
We are so thankful for our Lord Jesus Christ who was born for us. We are also thankful that Eric was home with us this year to celebrate! Merry Christmas to all my blog readers. We hope ya'll had a wonderful Christmas as well.

Thanks so much for letting me and Papaw spend Christmas with ya'll. It was so special seeing how excited you were, Marissa, to know that Santa was coming and that when he did come, you noticed that he ate his cookies and shared the carrots with Rudolph. That was so nice! Oh....and he liked the milk too. He must have been thirsty.
It brought back so many memories of when your mommy, Uncle Chris, and Uncle Ryan were little. Christmas is my special time of year especially because that is when Jesus was born in Bethlehem. You have a very special mommy and daddy that teaches you about Jesus' love and life. You and Brady are so special to us.
