Family Day at the NC Zoo

Saturday was such a gorgeous day here we decided to have a family outing to the NC Zoo in Asheboro. We had a BLAST and we enjoyed seeing Marissa's face light up when she saw the animals. Her favorites were the elephants and the giraffes. She kept asking to see them! It took us about 4 1/2 hours to see everything and this big momma was so tired by the time we were done. According to the park map we walked about 5 miles!! At the end, poor Eric was carrying Marissa and I was holding onto his arms in order to make it up the hills :) We were so blessed for a fun filled day! The American Alligator
