On Saturday, October 23rd we went to the State Fair in Raleigh. It is about an hour drive, but we wanted to do something fun as a family. We spent a good bit of time in traffic trying to find parking and were a little overwhelemed by all the people there! Marissa had a fun time riding 4 rides for $12! Boy is it expensive!! Daddy rode most of them with her...I got on the caroseul! Her favorite part was looking at the animals in the exhibits. I almost got peed on by a goat! She really enjoyed watching the cows get milked! Eric's favorite part was eating! He tried the Krispy Kreme Doughnut burger but wasn't very impressed! Overall we had a great time at the FAIR!

We ventured to Raleigh the weekend before the fair too and about died when I saw how much it cost to ride each ride. Thankfully, Addison rode for free but still. It cost us on average $8 a ride. Maybe next year we'll have to check out the dixie classic fair in Winston! ha!

Al started out his sermon on Sunday talking about the Krispy Kreme Doughnut Burger. You should send him the picture of Eric trying to eat one. Funny! Makes my stomach hurt to think about it. Remember when Chris made the breakfast sandwiches out of a doughnut?
Marissa looked like she was haveing a ball and you and Eric too. Eric's started with showing Marissa how to be a DAREDEVIL and she loves it.
