New Year's Day

On New Years Day my mom cooked a big lunch with ham, turkey, turducken, collards, butter beans, creamed corn, potato salad, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, hopin' john, lemon cake and apple pie! Boy was it delicious!!!! My mom's brothers came over along with their families. My friend Rebekah and her two girls joined us too! When my dad was saying the blessing, Marissa kept saying AMEN (about 5 times!). It was precious...she was ready to eat! Then around 6pm my inlaws came over to visit with us one last time before we headed back home. They had dessert with us and we took pics with Marissa and Marcus in their matching sweaters!

It was nice visiting with family over my vacation time, but it was also nice to get back home last night and get settled. Not looking forward to returning to work, but ready for the days to pass so I can see my hubby!!
